Go read some of Mittanis posts on kugu from the last few weeks, the gloating "all IT TCu's are killed, Suck it !!!" and all the back patting going on in there.

Also,chalk your losing Delve up to a cultural victory for IT and company as your management decided Eve wasn't worth playing and bailed on you when you needed them .Instead of spawning a Haargoth you spawned a guy who just stopped caring and didn't trust his most senior members...close enough to the same thing.

The thing I find interesting about this whole affair is the level of chest beating. Just looking at the prologue of IT's invasion of Fountain, there were constant Goonswarm references to BoB's humiliating defeat in losing Delve and Querious, its inability to hold space, and that it would never be a major power in EVE again. All those Bobbites were all washed up and bitter with no lives or lulz, they implied. So, for months the rhetoric has essentially been, "You're stupid and lost your space! Haha!! Just try to remove us..."

And now all of a sudden they're the ones being removed, and it's because they themselves were stupid. And the most interesting thing is that they're strutting this around like it's a good thing after all this time they spent bloviating about how old BoB/IT was washed up, incompetent, had fail-corps in it, and so on and so forth.

What's happening is a serious case of Doublethink. Goonswarm was more than willing to believe that it was the top dog so long as they were entrenched in Delve/Querious and could keep IT out. It's not like they were doing a bad job at that either. But now they were idiots, and all of a sudden "Oh...we're such failures at the game. We don't know what we're doing...we're glad we lost to a mechanical flaw rather than your fleets blablabla..."

It's a defense mechanism. They're downplaying the loss to make themselves feel better for such monumental incompetence as to not pay their bills, all while they continue to mock IT and Molle out of some desire to see them throw a mad hissy fit because Internet Spaceships is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Well, that's too bad. All of EVE is laughing at Goonswarm (or with them if they happen to find it amusing themselves) regardless of how they try to spin their internal thoughts on the matter. What really matters, I suppose, is that their alliance wasn't able to maintain its hold on Delve any more than BoB was, which bodes ill for the arrogant, chest beating, insulting and annoying image that the forum warriors built for them.

Briefly about the causes of the fall. The formal reason - unpaid bill. But what is behind this? Two things: paranoia and disorganization. Very nice that an alliance whose landmark victory occurred thanks to bribery and treason was the victim of distrust to their own directors. There were many cries about "It's just the game" However, in practice, in this "just play" in "fun dudes" alliance : in general, no one doesn't trust anyone.

Disorganization - their essence. They are not able to build - only to destroy. All of their achievements lay in the fact that they joined the major coalitions. Skillfully urged allies to do things beneficial to them, floated on the waves. But they found themselves unable to even minimal organization at a critical moment.

I wouldn't still be playing if it weren't for goons.
I don't accumulate assets.
I think it's a ****ing pubbie waste time.

I guess those corp thefts are going to hit me really hard.
I want from the directorate is a single line of text telling me where blackops is deploying.
I say I'm not any sort of official voice.
I mean it.
I simply do not care about the goons who are emopubbie ****s.
I do think goons are terrible at this game.
I do think it's funny that we lost delve due to incompetence.
I never lived there.
I didn't lose anything when we lost it.
I play.
I do think change will make things more fun, because it means new targets with different colored space.

In sum: I eat ****s served in a light cranberry apple compote.
